Assignment: Everyone in my class picked a slip of paper in my class for a project. Each slip of paper had a name of a famous 1920s-30s person. I got Judy Garland. You are supposed to create a bookcover for a biography of that person. But you are supposed to use first-person, so technically it's an autobiography. A little about Judy: She played Dorothy inthe Wizard of Oz and was famous for her line, "There's no place like home." and her singing in "Somewhere Over the Rainbow". One of her nicknames was Miss Showbusiness. She died of a drug overdose. Possible Book cover titles: 1. There's no place like home 2. Somewhere Over the Rainbow 3. The Ups and Downs of Miss Showbusiness 4. The Rise and Fall of Miss Showbusiness 5. There's no business like show business I just want you opinion on those and if u have another one in mind, please share! moreResolved Question: Can someone explain to me the absolute point of the Book called Wicked?

Someone recently told me that L. Frank Baum's books were "childish". They said the plot line was thing, and they weren't great classic literature, but merely a story about the magical adventures of a girl. You can look at any book like this if you want to. I'm not the type of person who wants to look at a book in a shallow manner, however. So what are your ideas on these classic novels? Feel free to comment about the movie/play or any other related material instead of or along with the books. The most popular/likely theory I've heard is that the books written about and around populism. I'm happy to hear other people's theories besides your own, but please try to cite them w/ the name of the person who originated the theory (if possible). moreWarning: file(http://beta.search.msn.com/results.aspx?q=Book+Wizard+Of+Oz+First+Line&format=rss&FORM=R0RE) [function.file]: failed to open stream: HTTP request failed!
